The 2025 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards competition has launched. Earlier this year I mentioned in an Editor's Note that this annual search for manufacturing excellence would begin soon, and here we are. The lead article in today's Continuous Improvement newsletter provides further information.
Even if you choose not to participate, I encourage you to fill out the entry form. I have been told by numerous plants that simply filling out the entry form provided them with a better understanding of their own facilities—and that's a good thing.
And finally, thanks to those of you who have reached out with story ideas and opinions. I have not yet responded to everyone, but I've started. I do like to hear from our audience, so keep the thoughts coming.
