Living in the information age means the full depth of human knowledge fits in the palm of your hand. Which can be a problem for judges and lawyers when they're trying to curate exactly what information jurors should be considering when evaluating a case. According to our first item today from Aleeza Furman, Pittsburgh Judge Alan Hertzberg is attempting to face the issue head on with a new set of novel jury instructions aimed at curbing jurors' use of cell phones during trials. Also, we have a look into the mounting support of Big Law for Kamala Harris.
