🥶 Minnesota continues to be gripped with extreme cold warnings and advisories until midday Tuesday, with dangerously cold wind chills expected to reach 30 to 40 degrees below zero.

❄️ The coldest air arrives overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, followed by potential snowfall midweek as temperatures gradually rise.

Trump returning to power after unprecedented comeback, emboldened to reshape American institutions

Donald Trump, who overcame impeachments, criminal indictments and a pair of assassination attempts to win another term in the White House, will be sworn in as the 47th president on Monday, taking charge as Republicans assume unified control of Washington and set out to reshape the country's institutions.

🧑‍⚖️ Minnesota Sen. Nicole Mitchell trial delayed until after legislative session. The judge overseeing the trial of DFL state Sen. Nicole Mitchell delayed the case until after lawmakers adjourn in May, which has a bearing on party control of the Senate for most of the session.

🎡 Minnesota State Fair admission price jumps to $20 per person; increase to fund improvements. The board that oversees the Minnesota State Fair announced Sunday that at-the-gate admission prices are rising to $20 this year. That's up from $18 last year.
🎧 Disasters in warm-weather states spur climate migration to MinnesotaCalifornia wildfires. Florida hurricanes. Texas heat. Some residents of these states say climate disasters are driving them to move to northern parts of the United States — including Minnesota.

🎧  AI could impact 500,000 Minnesota jobs, report warns. Artificial intelligence, or AI, is continuing to change the way we work and live, and hundreds of thousands of Minnesota workers may soon feel the impact. That’s according to a new report released Thursday from North Star Policy Action, a pro-union think tank. It characterizes 17 percent of Minnesota’s workforce as “high risk” to AI’s impacts.
