Inflation steady, consumer prices rise 0.4%

The Consumer Price Index rose 0.4% in February, slightly higher than January’s 0.3% read. Over the past 12 months, prices for all items ticked up by 1.7% with gas prices seeing a strong move higher. This as core inflation, year-over-year, rose 1.3% which was below expectations.
