Königlicher Winterzauber im Königshaus Hohenzollern / Royal Winter Magic in the Royal House of Hohenzollern

Kommt mit auf unsere weihnachtliche Reise und erlebt den Königlichen Winterzauber auf der Burg Hohenzollern! Diese exklusive Sonderausstellung bietet keine gewöhnliche Weihnachtsmarktatmosphäre, sondern eine bezaubernde Winterwelt in historischem Ambiente. Genießt prächtige Dekorationen in den Gemächern, einen zwölf Meter langen kaiserlichen Festtisch im Grafensaal und einen sieben Meter hohen Christbaum. Kurzworkshop: Nachhaltig am Werk – das Studierendenwerk Freiburg, 4.11. , 10 – 13 Uhr
Klimawandel, Artenverlust, Chancenungleichheit: Die Welt ist voller Herausforderungen. Sie ist aber auch voller nachhaltiger Lösungen. Nicht erst irgendwann, sondern schon jetzt und hier - auch im Studierendenwerk!
In unserem interaktiven Workshop erfahrt ihr mehr über die bunte Welt der Nachhaltigkeit. Und ihr lernt kennen, was wir als Studierendenwerk Freiburg dafür machen.

Kurzworkshop: Einsamkeit im Studium, 4.11., 17 – 18:30 Uhr
In diesem interaktiven Workshop beleuchten wir die Bedeutung sozialer Beziehungen für unsere körperliche und mentale Gesundheit und erkunden, u.a. warum wir uns auch in Gesellschaft anderer einsam fühlen können. Da sich deine sozialen Kreise und Bedürfnisse ständig weiterentwickeln, lade ich dich ein, darüber nachzudenken, was du wirklich brauchst und wie du deine sozialen Beziehungen entsprechend anpassen kannst.

Short workshop: Sustainable at work - the Studierendenwerk Freiburg, 4 Nov, 10 a.am. - 1 p.m.

Climate change, species loss, inequality of opportunity: the world is full of challenges. But it is also full of sustainable solutions. Not just one day, but right here and now - including at the Studierendenwerk!

In our interactive workshop, you will learn more about the colourful world of sustainability. And you'll find out what we at Studierendenwerk Freiburg are doing about it.
Short workshop: Loneliness at university, 4 Nov, 5 - 6.30 p.m.
In this interactive workshop, we will shed light on the importance of social relationships for our physical and mental health and explore, among other things, why we can feel lonely even in the company of others. As your social circles and needs are constantly evolving, I invite you to think about what you really need and how you can adapt your social relationships accordingly.

Am Mittwoch, den 13.11.2024 fällt die "Offene Sprechstunde" der Psychotherapeutischen Beratungsstelle des Studierendenwerks Freiburg aus. Grund hierfür ist eine interne Veranstaltung.

Termine für ein Beratungsgespräch in der Beratungsstelle können in der Zeit von 9.00 bis 12.00 Uhr montags bis freitags telefonisch vereinbart werden.

On Wednesday, 13 November 2024, the ‘Open Consultation Hour’ of the Psychotherapeutic Counselling Centre (PBS: Psychotherapeutische Beratungsstelle) of the Studierendenwerk Freiburg will be cancelled. The reason for this is an internal event.

Appointments for a counselling session at the counselling centre can be made by telephone from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Iranisches Live-Konzert, 8.11., 20 – 21 Uhr
Ihr habt Lust auf die mitreißenden Klänge iranischer Folklore? Dann seid ihr bei uns genau richtig!
Wir laden euch ein zum iranischen Live-Konzert des Arqavaneh Folklore Ensembles im urigen Peterhofkeller. 2016 gegründet, spielen die Mitglieder des Ensembles für den Frieden, da sie fest daran glauben, dass der Liebe und dem Frieden durch die Sprache der Musik am meisten Ausdruck verliehen wird.
Internationaler Karaoke-Abend, 14.11., 20:30 Uhr
Bock auf Karaoke? Komm zu unserem Karaoke-Abend und zeig uns, was du drauf hast! Egal, ob du ein Gesangstalent bist oder einfach nur Spaß haben willst - bei uns ist jede*r willkommen! Wir haben eine riesige Auswahl an Songs in verschiedenen Sprachen, damit sich alle zu Hause fühlen können. Also schnapp dir deine Leute oder trau dich alleine auf die Bühne und sing mit uns bis in die Nacht!

We invite you to a live Iranian concert by the Arqavaneh Folklore Ensemble in the cosy Peterhofkeller. Founded in 2016, the members of the ensemble play for peace, as they firmly believe that love and peace are best expressed through the language of music.
International karaoke evening, 14 November, 8:30 pm

Fancy some karaoke? Come to our karaoke evening and show us what you've got! Whether you're a singing talent or just want to have fun - everyone is welcome! We have a huge selection of songs in different languages to make everyone feel at home. So grab your mates or take the stage on your own and sing with us into the night!

So habt ihr die Chance, die nähere und weitere Umgebung eures Studienortes zu erkunden und dabei viele nette Leute kennenzulernen.

With Studitours you can get around - visiting the Christmas market in Constance or on a city trip to Basel. The inexpensive tours are prepared and accompanied by teams of student tutors. This gives you the chance to explore the nearer and further surroundings of your place of study and meet lots of nice people in the process.

Das Ziel des Stipendien-Infotags ist es, Studierende und Studieninteressierte über das vielfältige Stipendienangebot und die Möglichkeiten ein Studium zu finanzieren zu informieren.

Die zentralen Stipendiengeber in Deutschland präsentieren an Informationsständen ihr Angebot und es gibt die Möglichkeit mit aktuellen Stipendiat:innen der Begabtenförderungswerke ins Gespräch zu kommen.

Um 17:30 Uhr gibt es einen Vortrag des Service Center Studiums der Uni zum Thema.

Um 18:30 Uhr wird ein weiterer Vortrag einer aktuellen Stipendiatin stattfinden.

The aim of the Scholarship Info Day is to inform students and prospective students about the wide range of scholarships available and the options for financing a degree programme.

The central scholarship providers in Germany will present their offers at information stands and there will be the opportunity to talk to current scholarship holders from the organisations for the promotion of gifted students.

At 5:30 p.m. there will be a presentation on the topic by the university's Study Service Centre.

At 6:30 p.m. there will be another presentation by a current scholarship holder.

Wir sind gestartet! – Deutsch-französisches Medien- und Blogprojekt "Stimmen gegen Rassismus und Populismus" 2024 / We have started! - Franco-German media and blog project “Voices against racism and populism” 2024

Das deutsch-französische Medien- und Blogprojekt "Stimmen gegen Rassismus und Populismus" hat das fünfte Jahr in Folge begonnen! Gemeinsam mit engagierten Studierenden aus Deutschland, Frankreich und der Schweiz setzen wir uns in den kommenden Wochen intensiv mit den Themen Populismus und Rassismus auseinander – sowohl im Alltag als auch im digitalen Raum. 16 Studierende aus Straßburg, Karlsruhe, Freiburg und Basel wurden für die Teilnahme am Projekt ausgewählt. Das Projekt bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, journalistische Grundlagen zu erlernen und sich aktiv in einer Lehr- und Lernredaktion unter professioneller Leitung zu engagieren. Unser Ziel ist es, Stimmen zu verstärken, die sich klar gegen Hass, Wut und Vorurteile stellen. In diesem Rahmen werden die Teilnehmenden ihre eigenen journalistischen Beiträge entwickeln und auf dem Projektblog bis Mitte Dezember veröffentlichen:https://stimmengegenrassismus.blog/.

Das erwartet die Teilnehmenden:

Online-Workshops: Wir sind bereits erfolgreich in unsere ersten theoretischen Sitzungen gestartet. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Claude-Hélène Mayer, Professorin für Industrial and Organisational Psychology an der Universität von Johannesburg, Südafrika vertiefen wir unser Wissen über die Mechanismen von Rassismus und Populismus.

Präsenz-Workshops in Freiburg: Im November treffen wir uns vor Ort in Freiburg, um persönlich zusammenzuarbeiten, die Redaktion zu bilden und das gemeinsame Projekt voranzutreiben. Dabei bleibt auch Zeit, Freiburg und seine Umgebung zu entdecken.

The Franco-German media and blog project "Voices against racism and populism ” has started for the fifth year in a row! Together with committed students from Germany, France and Switzerland, we will be taking an in-depth look at the topics of populism and racism over the coming weeks - both in everyday life and in the digital space. 16 students from Strasbourg, Karlsruhe, Freiburg and Basel have been selected to take part in the project. The project offers participants the opportunity to learn the basics of journalism and become actively involved in a teaching and learning editorial team under professional guidance. Our aim is to amplify voices that clearly oppose hate, anger and prejudice. Within this framework, the participants will develop their own journalistic contributions and publish them on the project blog by mid-December: https://stimmengegenrassismus.blog/.

What participants can expect:

Online workshops: We have already made a successful start to our first theoretical sessions. Under the guidance of Prof. Claude-Hélène Mayer, Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, we are deepening our knowledge of the mechanisms of racism and populism.

Face-to-face workshops in Freiburg: In November, we will meet on site in Freiburg to work together in person, form the editorial team and drive the joint project forward. There will also be time to discover Freiburg and its surroundings.
