Clearance backlog hurting tech recruitment at Pentagon
Pentagon officials say that the security clearance backlog is hampering its efforts to recruit tech talent. "If we can't bring [IT specialists] on quickly because they're held up in the security clearance process, it's [possible] that they lose some interest and we don't garner the result we're looking for," Brig. Gen. Dennis Crall told lawmakers.
