Though their party affiliations may differ, powerhouse political consultants Mary Matalin and James ‘"Ragin’ Cajun" Carville have been married for more than 30 years, and for more than a dozen of those years, beginning in 2008, the red-and-blue couple owned a grand mansion in New Orleans that’s just come back up for sale for $3.7 million. The circa 1906 stunner was recently refurbished but still includes much original or recreated detailing, including gorgeous woodwork, a hand-painted mural of nearby Audubon Park, and at least half a dozen decorative fireplaces. Out back is a lush garden with a heated saltwater pool. And in New York State’s prestigious Tuxedo Park enclave, the childhood home of the late and influential maximalist decorator Dorothy Draper, known as Ogden Lodge, has come available with a $4 million price tag.
