INSIDE OUT: RECIPROCITY

One must regenerate to generate.

Employing reciprocity between ourselves and the world can be a challenge.

Some people meditate to maintain daily equilibrium between a fast and furious life and the soul. Others keep going at a slower pace, allowing for a more seamless relationship between life’s responsibilities and the inner sanctuary. And there is the Full Speed Ahead versus Up On Blocks practice where one operates a packed calendar, then must STOP, refuel, and return to high speed living. The last one is "Me!"

Robin Wall Kimmerer, a botanist and citizen of the Potawatomi Nation, tunes inward through lenses that shed light on the connection between personal energy and all beings in nature.

She believes that attention is that doorway to gratitude, the doorway to wonder, the doorway to reciprocity.

Robin's story weaves together the western science approach to seeing the world along with the indigenous ways of knowing the world, contending that reciprocity between art and science creates beauty in all things . . .

FALL 2018 | WINTER 2019 WORKSHOPS

I love weaving together a supportive community in WORKSHOPS. There is an exciting intensity when a group of strangers are all seeking personal knowledge and artistic instruction. Within this experience vulnerability and “aHa!” moments are reciprocated  throughout each workshop.
