'They will remain together'

Thousands grieved today at the procession and funeral in southern Israel for Shiri Bibas and her children Kfir and Ariel, who were all buried in a single casket. The family was abducted by Hamas on Oct. 7 and killed in Gaza; their bodies were returned to Israel last week as part of the hostages-for-prisoners ceasefire exchange. "They will remain together and close," said Carmit Palty Katzir, who presided over the funeral. Her family was also taken hostage on Oct. 7.
