Just four months ago, the Interactive Advertising Bureau heralded an overhaul of its annual Digital Content NewFronts slate, which it was calling the “new NewFronts.” But the IAB had no idea just how “new” this year’s event would become as a result of Covid-19; it was ultimately delayed two months and will finally kick off today, in a new, virtual format.
Adweek, the IAB's official NewFronts media partner, has everything you need to know about the event, including what to expect from the new format, the final NewFronts schedule and even a primer on how the NewFronts work. Plus, for this week’s cover story, we assembled our annual NewFronts roundtable, where execs from companies like Hulu, Roku, YouTube and Conde Nast talked about the virtual format and adapting to Covid-19. Those leaders also drilled down on the industry’s biggest issues going into the NewFronts in several Adweek videos.
Finally, Crackle Plus gave me an exclusive look at its NewFronts presentation, which will stream this afternoon, while Hulu shared an early glimpse of its own event, which will also be held today.
Be sure to check Adweek all week for the latest NewFronts news—you can find all our NewFronts coverage here—and take a look at this NewFronts newsletter each morning for a wrap-up of the previous day’s events.
