NATIONAL: The Digital Entertainment World conference will return for its ninth year and will be held virtually from Feb. 7-11, 2022. Different coverage tracks will include Television and Streaming, Brands and Entertainment, Music and Podcasts, and more. In addition to streaming all conference sessions online, organizers also plan to host an in-person component, with more details to be announced soon. Registration for early bird rates is open now.

AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO: The AC Hotel Austin Hill Country recently made its debut.
The property features a new rooftop bar called Salt+Stone, along with 135 guest rooms,
more than 900 square feet of meeting and event space, and an outdoor pool with cabana rentals available.

NEW YORK: DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) has partnered with Bloomingdale's this holiday season to launch "Holiday by Design," a new shoppable installation and auction. There will be 12 tabletop designs that can be bid on for charity until Dec. 9. The new installation will be on the fourth floor of Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship through Dec. 12 as part of its "Give Happy" holiday campaign.

Modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant Zou Zou’s recently opened on Manhattan's west side. Madeline Sperling, the executive chef of Gramercy Tavern and the NoMad, offers a diverse menu with inspiration from Israel, Turkey, Lebanon and other countries. The space can seat 75 and is open for dinner nightly from 5-11 p.m.

SALT LAKE CITY: Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City recently announced Pina Purpero as the general manager of the new location, slated to open in fall 2022. Purpero has served as the general manager in other Hyatt venues and will be responsible for all aspects of hotel operations as well as all sales and marketing efforts. The new 700-room hotel is being designed for large-scale meetings and events, and it is attached to the Salt Palace
Convention Center.
