Trading turnover on Swiss Stock Exchange fell 15 per cent in May

SIX Group, owner of the Swiss exchange, has reported that monthly trading turnover sank by 15.3 per cent to CHF130.4 billion in May. The number of trades also fell 11.5 per cent to 7,800,414. Meanwhile, the blue-chip SMI index rose slightly to 9,831.5 points at the end of May, 2.1 per cent higher than at the end of April.
