The da Vinci Society of Delaware is pleased to announce that the 15th Annual Vendemmia da Vinci Wine & Food Celebration will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3pm to 7pm at the Wilmington/Christiana Hilton witha new indoor format. Vendemmia da Vinci is one of the premier Italian American Wine & Food events. da Vinci Society Event Chairman Joe Richichi said "we are excited to bring a new indoor format to Vendemmia da Vinci. Four renowned chefs will present an array of culinary masterpieces complimented by fine wines." All proceeds of this event go directly back to the community to support our mission to promote and advance Italian culture through education, service, charity and community events. Over the past 16 years the da Vinci Society, a 501 (c) 3, has awarded close to $30,000 per year in scholarships, family assistance and worthy charitable and cultural programs such as Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Anthony's School Italian History month and Ellis Island trip, ARRIANA, Delaware National Guard family assistance program and UD and St. Mark’s Italian Language programs. | | |
