Good evening

I hope you have had a good Monday.
Have you managed to see a doctor during the pandemic?
We asked and you responded, sharing your views on the situation as part of our Big Conversation.
The majority of you think the NHS has coped very well in the circumstances, though you are saying everything takes longer, something which has an impact on mental health.
Waiting lists are high and that is a huge worry for many which additionally impacts mental health for many.
For those who have needed to visit a GP it has been a mixed picture with many finding appointments hard to come by with many surgeries moving to phone only.
Many people still feel like they ‘don’t want to waste NHS time and money’ by making a GP appointment unless it is an emergency.
Others say they have been unable to make an appointment with long waiting times on the phone to get through.
A few have been unable to get through at all.
So it’s a mixed picture but one thing many agreed upon - NHS staff deserve a pay rise and soon.
