Flyover completion delayed: The day you can access Louis Armstrong International Airport directly from the interstate has been delayed yet again. The $125.6 million project was originally supposed to be completed early last year but was pushed due to Hurricane Ida damage and supply chain disruptions. Session opens with a look back: Addressing lawmakers in the final regular legislative session of his term, Gov. John Bel Edwards on Monday touted the state's robust financial health and laid out spending priorities this year, including teacher pay raises.
