Mariam Veiszadeh, Afghan-born Australian lawyer, Executive Director of Diversity Council Australia and award-winning human rights advocate
The needs in Afghanistan remain enormous, with half the population requiring humanitarian assistance. This event is a unique opportunity to hear about the situation on the ground and how UNHCR is continuing to support the 3.5 million displaced, many of whom are women and children.
