The Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee has assigned Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (KITRA) to advise on the organization of Kien Giang Investment Promotion Conference in 2019 with the participation of the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
The Conference with the theme "Kien Giang - Potential, opportunities for investment and sustainable development" is expected to have the participation of 500 delegates from ministries, central agencies, provinces and cities throughout the country; international delegates; domestic and foreign enterprises and investors.
This is an opportunity for the province to introduce socio-economic achievements, potentials, strengths, preferential policies and mechanisms, lists of priority projects to call for investment in the sectors of clean and high-tech agriculture; environment treatment; processing high value-added agricultural and aquatic products; catching and preserving seafood; fishing logistics area; infrastructure of industrial zones and clusters; etc.
