This message comes from Kenna Security which found that nearly one-third of 9,600 public Google Groups leaked sensitive information in emails sent through the platform. The security firm found such public groups held by many prominent websites, including Fortune 500 companies, hospitals, universities, newspapers, and even U.S. government agencies.

Android Police | The new Gmail web interface has been available for over a month now, but it's still in preview and it's an opt-in affair. However, the new UI will roll out to all G Suite users in July. When the new interface launches in July, G Suite administrators will have three options: immediately transition their users to the new UI (with an option to opt out), allow their users to opt into the new UI at the time of their choice, or wait about four weeks until their users are allowed to opt into the new UI. The last option will be the default setting.

Slate | Microsoft is acquiring GitHub, the largest code repository in the world, for $7.5 billion, the companies announced yesterday. GitHub, an online community for software developers to collaborate and share code, is host to a community of 28 million developers who maintain a total of 85 million code repositories. When news broke that the acquisition had gone through Sunday night, developers in the open source community started to grumble. “Clients don’t trust Microsoft, I don’t trust Microsoft, and one way or another they are gonna find a way to ruin things. G Suite Updates | On June 19th, 2018, Google Mobile Management will begin rolling out support for Hangouts Meet on iOS. Currently, G Suite users in domains with advanced mobile device management enabled can use the Hangouts Meet iOS app without first installing the device policy profile.
