Another leak reveals possible changes coming to the iPhone 16
| Apple is reportedly eyeing a fresh, yet familiar overhaul for the iPhone 16's design. Pro models, on the other hand, will add a new multifunction button, among other changes
| In 2024, it seems Apple will shower more love on the entry-point iPhone models, bestowing them with a slight design refinement on the rear shell. Leaks suggest the camera island on the iPhone 16 — and likely its Plus variant as well — will get a pill-shaped makeover. On the current-generation iPhone 15 duo, we get diagonally arranged camera lenses positioned atop a square-ish glass bump. In the upcoming versions, Apple is reportedly replacing it with a vertical pill-like camera island, mirroring the look we first saw on the iPhone X. Other changes are reported for the 16 Pro and Pro Max models. Let’s take a look ... | |

Smart glasses made over the past few years have never really ticked all these boxes, and getting prescription lenses in them was usually a pain, too. So much as I wanted to, I could never consider living with them as I do my non-smart pair. But then the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses came along. Could they be the first pair I could wear all the time? I think so, and I’m embarking on a long-term test to find out. You might be thinking that Ray-Ban Meta are smart sunglasses, but you can also get clear prescription lenses for them, and that’s what I’ve done ... | |

Airbnb just took a big decision on cameras inside properties
| In a privacy-focused move, Airbnb hosts will have to remove all indoor security cameras by April 30 | Airbnb announced on Monday that it is banning the use of indoor security cameras in its listed properties globally. The accommodation site is making the move to simplify its policy on security cameras and other devices and “to continue to prioritize the privacy of our community.” Airbnb has always allowed the use of indoor cameras for security purposes, but only in common areas such as hallways and living rooms. Additionally, the accommodation listing had to clearly indicate that cameras were in place, and the devices had to be clearly visible. Cameras inside Airbnb properties have been a contentious issue from the start, mainly because over the years, there have been multiple reports of guests finding hidden cameras, sometimes in the bedroom or bathroom. | |
