Hilarious hostage: Local police get an unexpected surprise The scenario sounded grim: A quiet, residential Florida neighborhood was awakened by cries for help. From a house on the corner, a voice could be heard screaming, âLet me out!â It was enough for a resident in Lake Worth Beach to call 911, hoping police would arrive in time to free whoever was being held hostage. But when the cops finally arrived, they got the surprise of their lives. When they got to the house in question, they found a man in the driveway fixing a car. The police questioned him, but he calmly smiled and said heâd show them his âcaptive.â To their shock, the source of the voice was none other than a 40-year-old parrot named Rambo, who had been trained at a young age to yell, âLet me out!â when he wanted time out of his cage. At that point, the only sound that could be heard in the neighborhood was laughter. We all know parrots can talk like people, but have you ever wondered why? Tap or click to learn the secret behind parrotsâ remarkable speaking abilities. â |
