In the whirlwind of media coverage, hype, billion dollar investments, grandiose promises, staggering computational power, and doomsday prophecies, the people building and maintaining Artificial Intelligence — and having our data extracted to create it — are too often treated as an insignificant or inconvenient truth. But those are the people we’re interested in, because without them, without you, and without me, there is no AI.

So join us as we talk to data labelers, researchers, regulators, activists, and artists to discover how they’re building and using AI, and how they’re working to put people over profit — and quashing the hype.
