So many people are moving there that a growing number of residents are anxious about overcrowded schools and traffic gridlock, among other problems. The parish council recently passed a yearlong ban on new developments, saying it was necessary to get better zoning rules in place. But the parish president vetoed it, saying it was unlikely to survive in the courts. Now some council members say they're going to try to override his veto.
