Dear John,

I had the honor of speaking to 125 students at Ngee Ann

Polytechnic in Singapore on Friday evening. This event

was set up by our Ziglar Legacy Certified trainers Amily

Ang and Alex Tham.

What made it special is that it was a Friday night and the

attendance was voluntary! The Ziglar message resonates

everywhere in the world.

One of the students asked this question: "Is it dangerous

to have too much hope?"

By the way, I love Q & A sessions because you never know

what kind of questions you are going to get!

Here was my answer.

First, it is far more dangerous to have too little hope.

Hopeless people don't even try; they will not take action.

Second, hope needs to be built on the solid foundation of

planning, preparing, and doing.

When we plan and prepare, we can expect good things to

happen. This hope is on solid ground. We focus on what

we can do and expect the best.

Dad always said, "Never give a promise without a plan,"

because this creates false hope.

You are Born To Win, so go ahead and Live To Win!

Tom

P.S. Quote of the Day: "The door to a balanced

success opens widest on the hinges of hope and

encouragement." Zig Ziglar

P.P.S. If you are a leader and would love to teach Ziglar

content, remember this tip: Encourage your people with

"You Can Do It!" and then immediately follow up with

"Here's how...." Check out our Ziglar Legacy Certification

program where we have the "Here's how programs!"
