Is living in Lafayette Parish becoming less affordable?

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Happy Friday, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get to the headlines.

Here's the overarching question I put to Lafayette Power Poll voters this month: Is Lafayette Parish become less affordable? The news is just kind of like a drip -- cost to buy a home has gone up, the cost to build a home has really gone up and the cost to rent a home has also gone up.

Voters might be feeling like most Americans in this era of inflation and the cost of lots of things increasing. But in Lafayette, are things going to level off any time soon?

Check out the story here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day
