The 2022 NFL season just gets crazier every week. Both the Miami Dolphins and my Arizona Cardinals won their games after being down 21 and 20 points, respectively, and the Jets scored two touchdowns in 60 seconds to beat the Browns.

The second half of the Cardinals' 29-23 overtime win over the Raiders was essentially a highlight reel for Kyler Murray. If you're a football fan — and even if you're not — and you haven't seen Murray's 2-pt conversion play in which he scrambled almost 85 yards for 20.8 seconds before running the ball into the end zone himself, then you should. You won't be disappointed.

After a disappointing loss to Oregon, the Cougars look to rebound against Wyoming. Can they fix their run game in the process? The Utes seemed to recover against San Diego State with their commanding 35-7 win, and now they face their first Pac-12 opponent of the season, ASU, who just fired their head coach.

In the 1970s, Utah Valley University exemplified the United Nations' goal to create a “kinship of good” when they coordinated a pilot project as an “attempt to establish through international cooperation a world data bank on the nutritive value and use of feedstuffs” with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, a German university and the International Livestock Centre for Africa.

UVU looks to replicate that spirit of creating a “kinship of good” when representatives from the global community of scholarship will gather in Orem for the university's “Why it Matters” conference, their first international academic conference, in October.

U.S. support for Ukraine could mean ‘we’re going to go to war with Russia,’ Rep. Stewart says

During his appearance on Fox Business’ “Kennedy" on Thursday, Rep. Chris Stewart called on President Biden to define what success in Ukraine looks like. Otherwise, he believes the conflict could resemble the war in Afghanistan and become a lengthy commitment with no clear goal in sight.

“I also believe that America has an extraordinary responsibility to defend freedom and democracy around the world when we can,” Stewart said. “But we also have to look at the last 20 years in Afghanistan, and Iraq and Libya and other places. And the problem was that we had an unending and open ended commitment and we never really defined what success was.”

2 years after a racism scandal, Utah’s Morgan Scalley is reportedly one of the Pac-12’s highest-paid assistants

Two years ago, University of Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley faced a pay cut after admitting he used a racial slur in a text message he sent in 2013. ESPN reported Scalley's annual salary has more than tripled this year after he signed a new three-year deal in March.

Following the disciplinary action in 2020, Scalley's annual pay was cut to $525,000
Scalley now has an annual salary of $1.4 million
