Have Mercy: The abandoned former Lindy Boggs Medical Center has been a graffiti-covered squatter magnet for much of the time since it closed after Hurricane Katrina. The building, located near Bayou St. John and often known as Mercy Hospital, has also been targeted for redevelopment. But nearby residents are running out of patience, and the city may be as well. Back to school: Authorities in St. Charles Parish have arrested a 28-year-old woman who allegedly enrolled at Hahnville High School and attended class during the most recent school, pretending to be a 17-year-old student. Michelle Hunter has the story.
