How does Salt Lake International compare to the busiest airports in the world?
Eight of the world's 10 busiest airports are located within the U.S. Many airports are seeing a spike in the amount of passengers traveling, with air travel numbers bouncing back after the COVID-19 pandemic caused numbers to dip.
From China to Atlanta, the world's busiest airports serviced tens of millions of passengers last year.

In an interesting twist, the Utah Democratic Party has chosen to back independent Senate nominee Evan McMullin over its own U.S. Senate nominee.
Some, such as McMullin, explain that the decision was about more than the political affiliation — it’s about putting “country over party.” Will the strategy prove effective in the Senate race, or will the decision impact the party's future in Utah?
“It’s essentially conceding that you have no hope,” said Matthew Burbank, political science professor at the University of Utah. “It’s clearly a sign of the weakness of the Democratic Party.”
