Is Trader Joe's coming to Lafayette? Here's what we know so far

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get down to the business.

The biggest news coming out of the commercial realtors meeting on Wednesday (besides unmarried men under the age of 40 choosing to play video games seven hours a day instead of working) was that Trader Joe's is actively exploring sites for a store in Lafayette.

You may remember Trader Joe's. Lafayette was rumored to be getting one a few years back, but a deal never materialized. But now the popular brand is back on the radar, and you can cite the commitments from big national players Topgolf and Dave & Busters as why Lafayette may have gotten back on their radar.

You can read the full story here.

Have a great day.
