Is Your Business Eligible for SHOP Coverage?

Are you a business or non-profit organization that wants to provide health and even dental insurance to your employees? The Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) might be for you. You might be eligible to offer SHOP insurance to your employees if you:

  1. Have 1-50 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees.
  2. Offer coverage to all full-time employees.
  3. Generally enroll at least 70% of the employees you offer insurance to. Learn more about this rule here.
  4. Have an office or employee work site within the state whose SHOP you want to use.

If you meet these four requirements, you may be eligible to offer your employees insurance through SHOP. Begin your enrollment by using the Find Local Help button below and working with a SHOP-registered agent or broker near you.
