The Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) is for businesses and non-profit organizations that want to provide health and/or dental insurance to their employees. To offer SHOP insurance to your employees, your business or non-profit organization must meet the following requirements: - Have 1-50 full-time equivalent employees (FTEs)
- Offer coverage to all full-time employees
- Generally must enroll at least 70% of the employees you offer insurance to
- Have an office or employee work site within the state whose SHOP you want to use
