Hi everyone, Just paged through the 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer. The report is great, as always. But the news inside is awful. Once again, and more than ever, the level of trust for government and media continues to decline across the globe, particularly in the U.S. Only business continues to fall into the “trusted” category, but only by the slimmest of margins. Nothing to brag about there. Beyond this less-than-lofty status, Edelman reports that all of your audiences – employees, investors and consumers – are holding organizations accountable, for being a great place to work, a sound investment and a faithful steward of our fragile planet. No pressure. That’s your cue for doing what most businesses don’t do very well: telling a credible, informative and reliable story. Over here, we call that brand journalism. Simply put, it is the opportunity to tell your story (what you do, what you know, what you believe), using the journalistic tools of reporting, storytelling and digital publishing. If you’re not telling your best stories, we can help. So here’s my offer: Get on my calendar. Book a call with Kristin Hart or send an email to kristin.hart@raganconsulting.com, and tell her what you’re looking for. We can talk about coaching, about assessing where you are with your storytelling or just talk about how to do this whole brandjo thing. That’s it. All good things start with a conversation. Reach out to Kristin, and we’ll talk. Cheers, Jim Ylisela Co-founder, Ragan Consulting Group www.raganconsulting.com |
