Isolation is a way of life for author Jennifer Barclay, who lives with her dog, Lisa, on a remote island in Greece's Dodecanese. Over the last five years she has developed an obsession with the empty, half-ruined settlements on the archipelago – the subject of her new book, Wild Abandon.
