Israel and Lebanon escalate attacks as U.S. seeks to provoke Iran into war

The situation in the Middle East continues to escalate by the day, putting us all on a path toward nuclear war.

Just this weekend, Israel stuck 40km deep inside Lebanon's territory, and Hezbollah is showing off anti-ship missiles that could be used to target US Navy vessels.

Meanwhile, huge natural gas and oil reserves have been found underneath Gaza, providing yet another reason for Israel to want to control the land.

For its part, the US wants a justification to bomb Iran, but so far Iran is refusing to go along with the escalation. Nevertheless, the situation remains tense.
