TVOT CONNECT was fantastic today and well-attended. Feedback we received from members and attendees included such praise as "Great conversation!" and the "best TVOT CONNECT yet!"

A big thank you to all the *Women with Opinions!*  We'll do this again in the future.

We discussed:

  • VIZIO Walmart deal news and consolidation and what it all means
  • Advanced Advertising and complexity regarding signal loss, consent and privacy
  • Innovation, AI and branded entertainment and how all this will play out.
The discussion was hosted by Colin Dixon, Chief Analyst of nScreenMedia, and Tracy Swedlow, Editor-in-Chief of ITVT and Co-Producer of TVOT.

TVOT CONNECT is an online, TV-industry membership community from ITVT/TVOT and nScreenMedia that aims to encourage conversation, debate, networking and collaboration across all sectors of the advanced-TV space. The membership fee is $40 per month; however, the initial sessions are being offered to ITVT and nScreenMedia readers free of charge (visit our membership page here).

Televisionation: Friday Fireside, the #1 television industry Webcast, features Rick Howe, The iTV Doctor, in conversation with prominent figures from the advanced-TV/video industry.

This Inside Television edition of Friday Fireside welcomes Doug Holloway, President of Homewood Media and UKW Media. With a television career that spans 40 years, 21 of which were at USA Networks from the (truly!) very beginning, Doug has contributed to the success of three television-industry pioneers: Kay Koplovitz, Barry Diller and (of course) Adrian Monk! You will laugh out loud at Doug’s tales of the industry parties at the NCTA Show and the Western Show, along with something about Blue Aliens at the USA Network booth promoting the Sci Fi (now SyFy) Channel. Watch and Enjoy.
