For me Mr. Krasny's voice has become synonymous with curiousity, open-mindedness, and fascination with the world. - Anonymous

  Dear Friend,

Recently we asked our community to submit their favorite Forum memories in honor of Michael Krasny’s retirement. We are moved by the outpouring of over 330 memories!

Many people wrote about how Michael was a regular part of their week, whether on a morning commute, at the workplace or in their home. We even heard fond memories from people who were interviewed on Forum.

It was especially touching to know that Forum served as a way for people to connect with other people in their lives. Many favorite memories include parents and children—riding in the car together or talking over the phone from many states away—using Forum as a jumping off point to connect, discuss the issues of the day and foster compassion and curiosity.

It’s gratifying to know that Forum and KQED hold a special place in people’s lives. I’m proud to have you as part of our community.

Holly Kernan
Sincerely,
