Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival 
With MC Adrian Alaberg and Aust Day Ambassador Shelley Taylor-Smith
Sunday 26 January  I   Coogee Beach Reserve  I   8am-midday


Join us for a morning of celebrating being Australian! Everyone is welcome to come along to this free event that will entertain the whole family.

Activities include competitions for watermelon eating and sandcastle building, entertainment by Chilli Con Curly, Binjareb Middars, Bradley Hall Band and Downtown Band plus there will be mermaids on the beach, water amusement rides and slides and it's all free! Road Closures
Powell Road access closed 6am to 1pm. Parking for this event is opposite the beach off Cockburn Road and at Coogee Hall off Howick Court. Access to Coogee Beach Cafe and regular beach goers parking is via Peri end through Orsino Bvd. The City of Cockburn apologises for any inconvenience that this event may cause.

Community Concert
Featuring Ross Wilson and support band The Wizards
Saturday 8 February  I   Victor George Kailis Oval  I   7-9.30pm


See Ross Wilson perform right here in Cockburn and opening for him is home-grown band The Wizards of Oz and both will have you on your feet and singing along to some great Aussie hits!

Getting there
Relieve the stress of finding a carpark and navigating traffic by riding your bike, bike racks are available at the entrance to Cockburn ARC with BikeWise providing secure bike valet parking. Another great option is to carpool or use the public transport available at the Cockburn train station.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase on site.

Road closures
Please note Remembrance Ave (South) will be closed for the duration of the event.

Don't forget to bring:
Insect repellent 
Torch
Picnic blanket / chairs 
Cash as there are no EFTPOS/ATM facilities on site.

Accessibility
For accessibility options contact the City of Cockburn in advance to make arrangements. 

This is a smoke and alcohol-free event. The concert is free and no dogs are permitted.
