Lauren Graham and David Sutcliffe in a bad season of Gilmore girls

I'm hanging up my Team Christopher Apologist hat and dusting off my Team Max Medina hat because, sorry Christopher, but it's time to just go get some coffee.

Our Books, Our Shelves: Art in the Year of Calamities

Jenn Lyons and her book cover House of Always

In 2020, I discovered there are limits to my skills at artistic alchemy. Dear god, there are limits. It was not a year for creating as much as it was a year for surviving.

We asked the cast and creators of the CW's new 'Walker,' "How do you go about telling a story about law enforcement nowadays when we have such a conversation going on today about the role of law enforcement and its role in perpetuating systemic racism?"

Goop’s Vagina Candles Are Exploding, and That’s Honestly Poetic

gwyneth paltrow doesn't remember sebastian stan.

The exploding vagina candle in question wasn't even purchased from Goop herself. It was won in a quiz. Which makes this story all the much better.

Don’t Put Batwoman’s Poor Ratings on Javicia Leslie

Batwoman's first season had the new shiny allure of being a new show, but it was never a critical darling, getting slapped in the first season for bad acting and other things. So, to have the show go through the effort to actually hire an actress with range, and then putting all the pressure on that actress is a bit slimy, because Javicia Leslie is the one coming into a rocky ship.

Asking if Trump Will Pardon Joe Exotic Is Exactly How I Expected This Circus of a Presidency to End

Joe Exotic in "Tiger King"

I'm not even surprised that Joe Exotic is trending like we're back in March 2020. I'm not even surprised that it's a very real possibility that he'll be pardoned by Donald Trump. I'm not even surprised that his team has a limo and make-up team ready to pick him up, bedazzle him in tiger stripes, and get him ready for the inevitable television spot he'll land.
