| Good morning, and welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022. It's Falcons-Saints week, but it would be hard to tell around town these days. And that's understandable, columnist Rod Walker writes, given the way the season has unfolded for the two longtime rivals. The anticipation for the game between the NFC South foes isn't as high as normal, which should be expected when playoff hopes are as bleak as they are for both teams. In other Saints news, our staff compiled its list of top stories during the 2022 sports year and you won't be surprised to learn that the Saints were prominent throughout the list.
