It's Fall! Celebrate Black-Owned Businesses and the Harvest Season Tomorrow at Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Fall Kickoff

Happy autumn equinox! Tomorrow at Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Fall Kickoff, join Foodwise and 25+ Black-owned businesses in kicking off the harvest season with a day of delicious food, community, and family fun at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and adjacent Ferry Terminal Plaza (just south of the Ferry Building). Entry is free, with food and drinks for purchase.


Meet and support talented Bay Area Black food makers and craft designers, including participants in Foodwise's Building Equity program. Stock up on seasonal specialties, such as fall sweet treats from A Girl Named Pinky and Wright's Delights; preserves from Sam's Gourmet Jams, That's My Jam, and Evolution Hot Sauce; and more. Don't miss the In the Black pop-up craft market in the front plaza, as well as free cooking demos and fall-themed family activities.

Farmer Joy Dolcini offers pasture-raised duck and chicken eggs, along with honey and ground beef and pork from her family’s sixth-generation farm in West Marin County’s Chileno Valley. For the next couple of months at her Saturday stand, she will have quail eggs, too!
