Industry 4.0 has the potential to transform the manufacturing sector – bringing together the best of IoT and AI technologies, to create new revenue and cost savings for enterprises in this space.  However, enterprises can still struggle to move beyond the Proof-of-Concept (POC) stage and realise the true value of Industry 4.0 at scale.

This report presents the results of the Omdia Industry 4.0 Survey conducted in late 2021.  It explores the drivers, challenges, state of adoption and future plans for IoT, AI and Cloud technologies in the pursuit of Industry 4.0 goals.  The survey was open to respondents from manufacturing and related industrial sectors.
