Free Project: Embroidered leaves & vines cuff
The leaves are changing here in Wisconsin and bringing inspiration to our jewelry-making. Dichroic glass, with its exciting colors and alluring depth, makes a great focal point for bead-embroidered cuffs. Seed beads in complementary colors fill in the background.

The October Design Challenge
The geometric shapes of the September Challenge made for some stunning jewelry, but for October, let’s get a little softer. Take your inspiration from raindrops falling on your head or from stones that are a girl’s best friend, or from the shapes that they represent. Teardrops are a very common shape for both beads and cabochons, and for classically-styled earrings, and the diamond is common geometric shape suitable for use in thousands of designs! Let’s see how you can incorporate those shapes for this month’s Facet Design Challenge!
