| Dear Friend,
If you’re a regular listener to KQED, you know that an interesting story—thoughtfully reported—can stay with you all day. Forum, specifically, shows how a regional public affairs program can create a dialogue across so many disciplines and important issues.
It’s truly the end of an era: legendary Bay Area radio broadcaster, author and academic Michael Krasny will be retiring as host of KQED’s Forum next month. For almost 30 years he has brought depth, compassion and the expertise of a literature professor to the airwaves on a daily basis.
In honor of Michael Krasny’s retirement, please share your favorite Forum memories. | | | | Don’t worry about your morning news, however. KQED is currently conducting a search for the new host of the 9 am hour of Forum. Mina Kim will continue to host the statewide broadcast from 10-11 am.
As we say farewell to Michael Krasny, I want to thank you, truly, for being a KQED reader, viewer and listener. We look forward to making many more happy memories in the future. | | |
| Sincerely,
Holly Kernan Chief Content Officer, KQED |
| | | P.S. I hope you will be moved to share your favorite Forum memory today, in honor of Michael Krasny’s retirement. | |
