Voornaam, In 2020, record numbers of Americans did what Oregonians have been doing to great success for more than two decades: They voted by mail. In the midst of a global pandemic, more than 65 million Americans voted by mail, according to the U.S. Elections Project. Oregon has known for 20 years that vote-by-mail is one of the safest and most accessible ways to hold elections. Now that most of America has had the opportunity to use it themselves for the 2020 Election, now is the time for National Vote-By-Mail. Will you add your name in support of National Vote-By-Mail?
No American should have to choose between their health and their right to vote. Here in Oregon, we've been voting by mail for more than 20 years. And even during a pandemic, Oregonians turned out in record numbers in both the May Primary and the November General Election, thanks in large part to vote-by-mail. Oregon has led the way on voting access. We were the first state to run our elections entirely by mail, and in 2015 we became the first state to pass automatic voter registration.
