This may seem simplistic, but I sometimes think people can be divided into two categories. Those who have always known what they wanted to be and those to whom it came as something of a surprise. So many of our MarTech contributors became tech or data specialists almost by accident. 

Take Megan Michuda, subject of our new Spotlight interview, who studied history, thought of being a journalist, then discovered she had an aptitude for translating between IT and marketing teams.

Me? By the age of 10, I was sitting in my room prodding at an old manual typewriter trying to write stories. All these years later, well, my keyboard has changed.
