It's Tits 2022!

Every year this amazing event grows bigger and better, and it’s all thanks to the ladies that show up. From the sponsors, Snowboy Productions, and the all-female digger crew that make the perfectly manicured course possible to the riders, filmers, photographers, and PNW public that show up and support, this event could not be the epicenter of connection that it has become without this community. THANK YOU! 🫶🏽

It was an incredible week to say the least. We saw some impressive snowboarding on hill and some even better conversations off. Women’s snowboarding is experiencing a renaissance of talent. From contests and the backcountry to the streets and the boardroom, female riders are pushing boundaries. Regardless of chosen terrain, one thing unifies the women of snowboarding today, community, and It’s Tits is a testament to that.

The week kicked off on a high note with the 2nd Annual Pitch Session, hosted by the wonderful Mary Walsh and a start-studded panel of Jess Kimura, Barrett Cummins, Jill Perkins, Megan Pischke, Bobby Meeks, and Yulin Oliver. The conversations were flowing and easily could have continued beyond the 2 hours allotted, bringing the ladies together to launch a week of ripping, reflection, and revolution through snowboarding.

After a few days of eventful weather, It’s Tits powered through and we enjoyed an an evening of burritos and media-focused education and inspiration presented by Jess Kimura and The North Face. It was the perfect environment for upcoming athletes, photographers, and industry women to learn, connect, and grow. Even the vets learned something! 😉

A break in the weather provided the perfect setting for Skate Like A Girl's Kim Woozy to host a progression skate session catered to female and transgender skaters. The ladies took over the WyEast Academy’s private skate park with some of the stars of women’s skateboarding in attendance, including Vanessa Torres and Nora Vasconellos. It was a session we won’t forget! 

The week spent on Mt. Hood also gave us the chance to shine a light on mental health with Laura Rogowski’s Mental Meetup. 80+ athletes showed up and shared, discussing coping mechanisms, communication, and the struggles we all face within and outside of the snowboarding industry. This was an incredibly powerful and emotionally charged session, and the biggest Mental Meetup yet, and we want to say a special thank you to Laura and all of the athletes in attendance for opening up and creating a safe space. ❤️

What started as a snowboarding event has grown into a global women’s summit, drawing an International field of female athletes and industry pros together to inspire progression and connection. We want to say a special thank you to Krush, the Snowboy crew, and Jess Kimura for providing a platform for this event to build upon. We'd also like to thank Monster Energy, The North Face, Tactics, Airblaster, Gnu Snowboards, DieCutStickers.com, Sun Bum, and Capita for supporting this event. We are honored to be a part of it, and we could not be more grateful for the support we receive through this event. Through athlete social media fundraisers and 2 beautiful donation-based public days on course, we were able to raise over $13K for B4BC’s outreach and survivorship programs.
