| ITVT is pleased to present a keynote from our recent, week-long virtual conference, TVOT LIVE! Spring 2021, in which *Rob Gelick*, Chief Product Officer and EVP/General Manager of Streaming Services at ViacomCBS, was interviewed by Scott Schiller, Global Chief Commercial Officer of ENGINE. Here’s the description of the keynote from the conference agenda:
“As Chief Product Officer and EVP/General Manager of Streaming Services at ViacomCBS, Rob Gelick heads up product strategy, engineering and design for all the media giant’s streaming offerings, including its newly launched flagship SVOD service, Paramount+. In conversation with Scott Schiller, Global Chief Commercial Officer of ENGINE, Gelick will provide unique insights into the strategic considerations that have guided Paramount+’s development, design and launch, update us on how the service is being received by consumers, and share his vision of its future evolution.
Topics to be addressed include: how learnings from CBS All Access (the service in which Paramount+ has its roots) inform the user experience of Paramount+; why ViacomCBS believes Paramount+’s brand hubs, live experience, content-discovery capabilities and other key features will give it a significant advantage in the marketplace; how viewers and critics have responded to the service so far (what’s working, what’s evolving and more); Paramount+’s place within the larger ViacomCBS streaming ecosystem (including how the company sees free and paid complementing each other in its streaming strategy); and how the company plans to innovate the service going forward.”
