Jack Dixon, NSCA, CPT, fitness instructor during the 12-Day McDougall Program teaches participants anyone can start an exercise program, no matter what their fitness level. Functional fitness helps our bodies by mimicking and enhancing the movements we do in everyday life. Instead of working one muscle group at a time, multiple muscle groups are used simultaneously, for example when doing a full-body squat. When engaging in a squat, you strengthen your leg and core muscles while mimicking a motion we naturally make. This type of exercise helps make everyday activities like picking up a full laundry basket easier and doesn’t require any special equipment.

Join Our March Program 

If you’re having trouble reaching your health or weight loss goals we are here to help. When you sign up for our 12-Day McDougall Program, you’ll be assigned a dedicated Support Specialist who will meet with you each day of the program to answer any questions you have. You will continue to work with your Support Specialist on a weekly and then monthly basis for an entire year following the program to help you stay on track. A community of 12-Day participants offers support, encouragement and understanding in weekly Zoom meetings. Twice a month Heather, Mary and Dr. McDougall host a Zoom meeting to catch up and answer any questions you may have. 

Learning from home will allow you to immediately apply what you’ve learned, practice in your own kitchen and get direct guidance from the McDougall team as questions come up. This is the exact environment where you’ll be challenged in your everyday life, and we’ll be there with you every step of the way. We’re here to set you up for lasting success.
