Jan Swift urging supporters to vote for Monique Blanco Boulet

Welcome back to another edition of Acadiana Business Today. Let's get cracking with some business news. 

Jan Swift, who finished third in the race for Lafayette Mayor-President last month, is backing challenger Monique Blanco Boulet in the Nov. 18 runoff election.

Swift spoke this morning about her decision not to back incumbent Josh Guillory and also urging people to vote in the election. Swift did not officially describe her support as an endorsement for Boulet but did note she is asking her supporters to do the same.
