Every three months, Maker House Co. donates 2% of all sales to a community non-profit to encourage everyday activism. We are so excited to announce that the OTL is the #CraftChange partner for January, February, and March!! We are honoured and privileged to have been chosen for this amazing initiative.

The Ottawa Home & Remodelling Show

The OTL will be at the Ottawa Home & Remodelling Show this year
Thurs. Jan 17th- Sun. January 20th.
Our amazing co-founder Bettina and tool ninja Kevin will be speaking on the main stage on Friday from
5:30 - 6:30 pm.

Demo Night: 10 Tips to Live Lighter

We're so excited about our next demo night!

Jen Stelzer, from EnviroCentre, will be showing us how to assess our current greenhouse gas impact and simple ways we can reduce it. We'll learn practical tips and get a “ten easy steps” take-away list with a small gift to get started. There will be ample time for Q&A.

Bring your family, and get the kids involved in keeping our foot print on this planet as low as possible.

Upcoming: Repair Cafés

Our January Repair Café for small electronics at Lee Valley sold out and our next one is fast approaching! On February 17th, we're offering a
Repair Café for Small Wooden Objects. Experts will be on hand to help you repair your damaged small wooden furniture, wood toys, and anything else wooden in need of repair. You'll receive advice and guidance from these experts and leave knowing how to make your own repairs.
Cost: Free
