JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles is thrilled to announce its fall exhibition – WAVE: New Currents in Japanese Graphic Arts.

Curated by renowned artists Kintaro Takahashi and Hiro Sugiyama, WAVE presents the work of 55 Japanese contemporary artists across wide-ranging media and genres. This exhibition is based on the popular WAVE exhibition, held each year at Arts Chiyoda in Tokyo as a survey of Japan’s dynamic graphic arts scene and highlighting established artists as well as uncovering new talents.

After premiering at JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, this exhibition will tour to other JAPAN HOUSE locations and brings the artworks of many of these artists to an international audience for the first time.
